Catching The Curl 3
by sura spurhawk
After a couple years, Rad and his family grew. He turned his job
into his own family business that he was quite proud of, and his twins,
Rani and Curtis, were now in their early teens. Dale supported
him every step of the way while bringing up their son and
daughter. As she thought, the kits took to the water and surfing
before they could even stand. Both turned out to be very skilled
surfers and very popular at the beach. Often, Rani and her
girlfriends would challenge the boys in contests of skill on the
water. And as if on cue, Dale would tease Rad on who would
win. Curtis, though, was more stubborn of the two and was very
difficult to get out of the water. Rani, however, didn’t care
either way where she was. If you could shop while you surfed she
would be all over it. All around, the four of them were a tight
knit family, even if it didn’t seem it at times.
“Here you go, girls, drinks all around.” Dale smiled as she served
chilled mixed drinks to Rani and her friends. The front porch of
the beach house was welcoming and set up much like a bar. But you
wouldn’t find any alcohol there; Rad didn’t allow it on the property
just for those safety reasons.
“Thanks, mom!” Rani giggled. Dale went down to the sand for some
light reading. The two males were shredding it up on the
surf. It made for quite the entertainment for Dale in case she
decided to put her book down. Rani and her friends gossiped and
scanned the beach for possibilities.
In the background, thunder rumbled as the sky started to darken
up. As Rad came out of a tube he looked to the sky. It
started to look not so good. The older Dolphin came ashore and
motioned for his wife. Immediately the radio was turned on for
the weather. Curtis didn’t pay mind to the current conditions as
he stayed out in the ocean.
~And now for a weather update. There’s a huge storm coming in
from the west along the coast. Expect dangerous water for you
folks living at the beach…~ came over the radio.
Rad looked to Dale, “Better pack it in, love.”
”I’ll get the kids in,” she said as she got up hurriedly. Rad
went to the shore and waved his arms at Curtis.
”Curtis! Storm’s a comin’, bro!” Rad yelled out. “Bring it
in!” Curtis saw it and barely heard it. He sighed, brought
it in, tucked his board under his arm and ran in with his dad.
The windows were tied down and the door locked. All they could do
now was wait it out. The teen dolphin went to his room; he wasn’t
much for Rani’s friends.
After the first wave of the storm went by, Curtis opened his
window. The clouds still rolled overhead and the waves crashed
ashore. He leaned against the open sill and looked out.
Down on the beach he Curtis saw something. But it wasn’t exactly
clear what it was. He turned and went for the front door.
Rad stopped him, “Hold it, bro, storm ain’t over yet. Where do
you think you’re going?”
“Something’s out there, pop.” Once he answered he bolted out the
door. Dale came in and looked to Rad.
“I’ll go follow him,” the father told his wife. Both dolphins hit
the beach. “Make it quick! Winds are kicking up again!”
”It’s around here somewhere!” With that Curtis stumbled upon
limbs sticking out of the sand. Both of the men got down and dug
out the person. “She’s still breathing, pop.” Rad gathered
the sand covered femme and quickly headed back to the house.
Once inside of the house everyone stopped to look at what was going
on. Rad took the girl to the spare room which was equipped with
his first aid supplies. Dale readied a warm bath. The kids
tried to all look but all got in the way.
”Alright, you all can see once we’re done,” Dale shooed. “Give us
some room.” The girls left but Curtis remained. “You heard
me, young man.”
”I saw her, mom; I should get to stay to help.” Curtis wasn’t
going to leave even if she said no again, which she didn’t. Rad
helped the girl into the bath and let Dale clean her up. Curtis
stood at the door with curiosity.
Rad chuckled and whispered to Dale, “First girl I ever seen him get
worked up about.”
Dale glanced back, whispered with a smile, “Well, at least now we know
he’s interested.” Rad mused and got the towels. After a
good long bath to wash away the sand, the girl was placed into the warm
bed. “Now, Curtis, why don’t you fetch me some warm water and a
cloth from the kitchen,” the mother asked. The boy grunted and
went to get it. Both parents laughed and watched over the
girl. All cleaned up she was quite beautiful, though not a common
sight. She was a binturong, a bearcat, with dark brown almost
black fur from head to toe. Her tail was just as long as her body
and very strong if she needed it.
After a few hours, the parents decided to let Curtis go ahead and
finally watch her overnight. The young dolphin sat in a chair
next to her. The radio was playing softly in the background just
to kill the silence. But momentarily, after everyone went to bed,
the girl let off a faint squeak. This caught Curtis’ attention.
”Hello?” he called to her.
She squinted her eyes, “Hnnn?” Curtis got closer.
”Are you alright?”
“Wh, where am I?” she said quietly. She then opened her eyes
enough to see him. There was a quiet moment where he didn’t
answer; he was too busy staring at her. She gave him a
questioning look.
“Oh, oh. Uh, you’re at my house, out of the storm. Do you
have a name?” Curtis wondered. The girl only stared before
rocking her head away and closing her eyes. She came and went
throughout the night and he never got answered.
Rad and Dale came into the room the next morning to find Curtis hunched
over the bed and asleep. The mother smiled and leaned him back
and pulled out a blanket to cover him after checking his wetsuit.
Rad sat next to the bed and checked on the girl’s temperature.
She had rested overnight and seemed to be doing fine.
“She must have woken up during the evening,” Rad gathered.
“How can you tell?” Dale asked.
”Well, she’s a bearcat, they’re nocturnal. I can only assume
that’s how she was raised. And Curtis was hunched on the
bed.” Rad explained.
Dale laughed, “I guess you’re right. But we’ll see. In the
mean time, I’ll get breakfast made.” Rad eeked and clicked in
pleasure of hearing that and sat to watch the girl a bit. The
storm had passed and the waves calmed. So the girls took
advantage of it and hit the waters. So all that was left in the
house was Rad, Dale, Curtis, and the girl.
As the afternoon rolled on, the girl was left on her own to
sleep. The family hung around the house just in case. It
was a good thing they did because around dinner time the girl made her
first attempt to wake and wander the house. This, of course,
stopped all that was going on at the time. Curtis stood and
watched her as she returned the look. Rani giggled. Her
brother looked back and glared before storming off to his room.
Rad and Dale watched then looked to each other. The father stood
and walked to the girl.
“I see you’re doing better. Hungry?” he asked.
Having a better concept of her surroundings she managed to say,
“Please?” Rad helped her sit. Dale came over and set a plate down
with some cook veggies and salad. The girl was slow at eating but
it was good to know she was able. They all sat and ate as well
with the exception of Curtis. “He will be okay?”
”He’ll be fine,” Dale smiled. “Just give him some time to cool
off. What’s your name, hun?” It was that question
again. The young bearcat looked down quietly. This caused
concern in Rad. Dale looked over to her husband and saw the
concern. “Nevermind that, hun, you just finish eating.” The
girl nodded. After she was finished she excused herself. As
she walked back to her room she came across Curtis’ closed door.
She rapped softly on the door.
”Yeah?” Curtis bellowed out. Frustrated in the silence he got as
answer he got up and opened the door. His attitude swiftly
changed at the sight of the girl. “Oh..hi. Did you want
in?” He stepped aside. The girl walked in and looked
around. Curtis stuck his head out of the doorway and looked
around for anyone and then closed the door.
The girl turned to him, “I don’t remember my name.” She almost
looked to him in desperation. <
“You, you don’t?” he stammered. The girl shook her head to
him. “Well, my name is Curtis, if that helps any.” She gave
him a faint smile when he introduced himself. The small smile
made him smile.
”Curtis. That’s a nice name.”
Rani pounded on the door which startled the two of them inside.
Rad looked at Rani for doing it so roughly.
”Sorry, daddy,” Rani apologized. She turned to the door, “You got
that girl in there don’t you?”
”Rani,” Dale said firmly. Rani made a face. After a couple
moments Curtis opened the door. The bearcat was standing behind
him. Dale offered her paw to the girl so she could walk
out. Reluctantly, Curtis moved aside. Rad walked into the
room and shut the door.
“What were you doing, bro?” Rad asked.
“Nothing, pop. She just wanted in.”
“I don’t want you…” Rad started.
“Pop! I swear, we didn’t even touch each other. She doesn’t
even know who she is!” Curtis said riled.
Rad paused, “Amnesia? You think the storm did it?”
“Possibly, but we’ll have to report we found her to the police.
Hopefully, someone will recognize her. But while she’s here, I
don’t want you taking advantage of her,” Rad said decisively.
Curtis sighed as Rad left the room. Things were explained to the
girls. The thought of the girl losing her memory wasn’t
appealing, even to the girl. This actually frightened her more
than she was before.
Days had gone by and they made her feel as comfortable as they
could. For those few days, Curtis kept his distance away from
her, but still watched her. Out in his shack he was waxing his
board.
“Curtis?”
He looked up. “Josey?” Josey was the name the girl decided to
call herself.
“I wanted to know.”
“Yeah?”
She paused a moment, “Why have you been avoiding me?” He set his
rag down.
“Well,” he cleared his throat, “My pop didn’t want me to take
‘advantage’ of you. I didn’t want to get us in trouble if they
thought we were doing anything.”
“Well, could you teach me to surf?”
He smiled, “Easily.” In seconds he grabbed his board and walked
her to the shore.
Rad looked from his shop window and saw the two out in the water.
Dale looked over her husband’s shoulder and watched the two.
“Well, they’re having fun,” Dale said with a smile. “It’s good
she’s opening up.”
“Hopefully, her memory will come to her. If not, she’s got some
good ones here.”
Curtis watched the bearcat float on his board. Her large tail
kept her balanced quite nicely. The water beat slowly against
them and the wind was calm.
“Thank you for saving me, Curtis.”
The dolphin boy clicked, “You remember that?”
“How couldn’t I? I’d be dead otherwise,” she smiled. Josey
then yawned. It seemed she wasn’t used to being up during the day.
“Maybe we should get you inside?”
“Oh, I just need a nap, and the movement of the water is soothing.”
Josey said before she drifted to sleep.
Curtis towed her to shore and took her to the house. While she
slept he took a shower. The water was shut off after he finished
and he sat on the edge of the tub nude with his oils. Not paying
attention the bearcat walked in on him. “Oh! I’m so
sorry!” she covered her eyes.
Curtis dropped his oils, “Shh!” He jumped up and closed the door
with a sigh. The dolphin boy picked up his oils.
“Should I leave?”
“It’s okay. I’m just putting on my oils. Um, could you
help? I always miss spots on my back.”
Josey blushed, “Sure.” She walked over him with shaky paws.
Curtis gave her the oils and turned around. Even though his
member was hidden he was still just as fit. Josey was gentle when
she touched his smooth skin. She could feel his calm breathing
against her paws. This all the while made her smile and calm down
herself.
“That feels nice,” Curtis told her. The girl stopped and watched
him. “No, you don’t have to stop.” He looked to her, “I’m
sorry, I.” A paw had reached out and touched his beak.
Josey had gotten the oils again and decided to apply them all over his
body. Just the feel of her paws sent him shivers. Afterward
she climbed and curled up into his lap. “Maybe we shouldn’t.”
“You’re not ‘taking advantage’ of me. I just want to be
held.” Josey smiled. Curtis embraced her at her
request. “Oh!” She looked down as Curtis was becoming
aroused. He looked away and cringed. Josey nosed him
softly, “It’s okay, it’s natural. I like you, too.”
“What?” Curtis murmured as he returned his gaze to her.
“I like you, too.” Curtis was relieved when she said that.
He had never shown any affection for another. But somehow she was
different.
They spent more and more time together as days went by. Dale and
Rad were pleased to see their son happy. It even looked to be
like Josey would be staying as a part of the family now. The
police couldn’t find anyone who even had seen Josey before. And
as the days went by Curtis adjusted his sleep schedule to be nocturnal
as well just for Josey. They only time the family saw him was at
dinner. It took some getting used to, but they all adjusted.
“Josey, wanna see something really awesome?” Curtis asked.
“This better not be another trip to market again,” she teased.
“Ha, no it’s not.”
“Alright then, lead on,” Josey motioned. The dolphin boy grabbed
their sandwiches and a bag and they were on their way. It took
about an hour to get there by foot, but they were in no rush.
Curtis stopped and pawed Josey the bag, “Hold this a sec.” He
reached out and pulled the moss and seaweed away from a cove
entrance. Josey questioned him but followed. The outside
wasn’t too glamorous but the inside was simply astounding. There
were glowing pools of water that were warm to the touch. The glow
illuminated the cove to a soft blue. The soothing dances of the
shadows were pleasing to the eye.
“Oh, Curtis…”
“Our little secret,” he smiled. The bag was placed on the rocks
as Josey took time to look around. She hadn’t thought of bringing
her bathing suit so Josey just stripped down instead. The dolphin
boy’s heart stopped. He had never seen her nude before
this. “Wow.”
She looked at him, “Hm?”
“Well, you, just, wow.” Josey giggled and blushed. “Mind if
I join you?”
“Not at all,” Josey replied. Curtis unzipped his body glove and
dove into the pool. Experimenting, Josey pushed him underwater
and kissed him. His eyes went wide as she did. When they
came up, both gasped. “Curtis…”
“Josey…” The bearcat pushed up against him and nuzzled. There was
a soft humming of content coming from her. “Will you be my girl?”
She giggled, “’Your’ girl? What’s in it for me?”
“Well, there’s me.”
“Okay, I’ll settle for that,” Josey answered.
They spent the night there and went back the early morning. They
decided to spend some time on the beach and sit in the sand for a bit
before going to bed. Rani stepped on the house’s porch and saw
them.
“Blech,” Rani said disgustedly.
Dale teased as she came out, “It’s like you don’t want your brother to
be happy.”
“It’s just gross to see that.”
“One day you’ll be the same way, Rani.” Curtis and Josey walked
up to the house. “Don’t forget, Curtis, your dad wants to take
you out for your birthday. So don’t sleep in too late.”
“I won’t mom. Don’t worry.” He went in with Josey.
Dale smiled and went to the shop to meet up with Rad.
Once in Curtis’ room, Josey stopped him, “You didn’t tell me it was
your birthday.”
“Well, I forgot.”
“You forgot your own birthday?”
“It’s never been that big a thing for me,” Curtis shrugged. Josey
took his arm and tugged at him. “Hm?” She unzipped his
glove suit and ran a paw over his chest.
“I just want to wish you happy birthday,” she gazed at him. Her
paw ran over his slit and a claw tip teased. Curtis
fidgeted. “Relax, Curtis,” she told him as she pushed him onto
the edge of the bed. The bearcat stripped and knelt on the floor
to get a better look at the hiding place. She blew over it
slowly. The dolphin boy hummed and clicked. The long
slender shaft slithered free. The moment it did she took hold and
ran both paws over it. Curtis moaned and leant back on his
elbows. Josey saw and heard this and brought her maw around the
tip. Her tongue circled the tip. The girl’s head bobbed up
and down on the member; sucking tenderly. She could feel his pre
dribble into her throat. Soft eeks and clicking mixed with moans
filled the room. After sheer minutes he shot a load into Josey’s
waiting mouth. “Mmm, that tastes sooo good.”
“What a turn on,” Curtis stammered.
She giggled, “Yes you are.”
“That it?” he wondered.
“Not unless you want it to be it,” Josey answered as she sat next to
him. He could smell her arousal from where he was. Curtis
then rolled over her, spread her legs and pushed into her. The
bearcat screamed through a bit lip. Her virginity was broken with
one swift thrust. A tear trickled down her cheek. The
dolphin stopped and looked down at her.
There was a sudden panic in his eye, “Josey, I’m sorry…” Curtis pulled
out and moved to a side of the bed. Once Josey was able to
compose herself she whimpered to him. She crawled to him and
hugged him around the waist.
“It’s okay,” she told him softly, “I love you.”
“I didn’t want to hurt you,” he responded.
“Shh, I’m okay now. Let’s just sleep.” He nodded to her and
lay down. Curtis couldn’t shake the feeling off.
When dinner time came around there was a knocking at the door.
Josey woke and got up. She looked to Curtis and sighed as he lay
there curled up. Once she put on her clothes she answered the
door.
“Curtis ready to go?” Rad asked.
Josey shook her head, “He’s not feeling good.”
The father sighed, “Well.”
Dale looked over at Rad, “Maybe tomorrow, hun. Let him sleep.”
Josey shut the door and turned to find Curtis looking at her. His
eyes quickly turned down.
“Want anything?” Curtis just shook his head at her. “You
can’t be like this forever.”
“I never felt so bad for something I’ve done. Ever.”
Josey walked over to him, “I told you I was okay. I ‘am’ your
girl after all.” Curtis looked back up to her. He gave her
a smile. “That’s my boy.” They hugged each other for
comfort.
It took a while but Curtis finally suited up and exited his room.
Josey was right next to him.
Dale perked her tiny ears and smiled, “Feeling better, son?”
Josey gave her boy a gentle squeeze around the arm with a smile.
Curtis nodded to his mother. “I’ll let your dad know.” The
beaver rushed to alert Rad. The two lovers looked at each other
as drums were heard outside. This drew them out to the
porch. Along the beach there was a fire pit, food, tiki torches
and the whole works for a luau. They saw Rani and her friends ogling
over the fire dancers. Dale went up to them and placed leis around
their necks. “Happy Birthday, Curtis and Rani.” their mother
murred. She kissed his cheek, “Now come have some fun.” Rad
was on the beach with the food waving them door. Josey giggled
and dragged Curtis with her to the sand.
The dolphin boy was greeted by family and friends as he showed
up. Curtis went up to his dad and smiled. Rad gave his son
a lei and kissed his cheek, “Welcome to the party, bro. There’s
plenty of food, so eat up."
”Thanks, pop,” Curtis clicked. The elder dolphin grinned and
stepped to the side for them. The bearcat murred and nuzzled
Curtis here and there as they ate and watched the dancers and
events. They were left relatively alone for a bit of privacy for
a time.
“So your birthday isn’t a big deal, huh?” Josey asked.
Curtis looked down and hehed, “Well, when it comes to pop you never
know.”
Conch shells were sounded and they both looked up. Four
golden retrievers came up to Curtis and picked him up and carried him
to the main seat of the luau. Once his was put down Rad walked up.
“What’s the birthday boy without his presents?” the father
laughed. He turned to look as Josey was escorted up to
Curtis. The bearcat blushed as she sat with Curtis. Flames
flickered as the presents were brought up one-by-one. Dale beamed
proudly at her son. He showed he actually was enjoying himself,
but she guess Josey played a part in that as well. Curtis looked
up to see his mother watching him. They watched each other a
moment as thoughts ran through his head. Rad looked from his wife
to his son, “Bro?”
Curtis shook his head a moment to his dad, “Huh?"
“You okay?”
“Sure, can I say something?” he mused.
Rad chuckled, “It is your birthday!” He took his son’s arm and hefted
him to his feet. “All yours.” The elder dolphin stepped
down. All attention was brought to Curtis and only the fires
crackled.
“Thank you everyone for this luau, especially mom and pop. But I
think there’s someone I want to do for someone else tonight.” He
turned to Josey and knelt down before her. Josey blinked.
“Josey, I saved you from the storm and something just lit inside.
You brought me something to my life I never even imagined would be
there. I want to be able to take care of you always. I
don’t have a ring right now, but will you…?”
Josey squealed and hugged him tightly, “Oh, Curtis!” Dale and Rad
looked at the two and smiled. Dale was on the edge of crying
herself.
“So is that a yes?” Curtis churred. The bearcat nodded madly and
kissed him. There was a rush of cheering that came over the
crowd.
After everything started to settle people started to leave. The
family was the only ones left sitting around the fire. Josey was
in Curtis’ lap.
“Finally taking responsibility, eh, Curtis?” Rani spoke up. Her
brother only glared at her as she was accustomed to.
Dale giggled, “One day, Rani, one day.”
“What?!” Rani huffed. Rad hugged Dale from the side and smiled.
“Any idea when you want it to happen?” Dale asked. Curtis looked
to Josey with question.
Josey smiled, “As soon as possible.” Rad blinked and looked to
his wife. Curtis nodded and agreed.
“Sounds good to me,” the younger dolphin replied.
“Well, if that’s what you both have decided, we can’t stop you,” Rad
said with a nod. “At least give us a day to get stuff
together. You kids are keeping my paws busy as it is.” The
others laughed at poor Rad including Dale. The beaver gave him a
kiss to calm his nerves. With that all done, Rad, Dale and Rani
went inside and left Curtis and Josey there.
“So you really mean it, huh?” Josey asked.
“I do. I want you to stay here with me.”
Josey kissed him, “I wouldn’t want to leave you, Curtis.” The
moon played over them as the fire dimmed.
Days went by as the wedding was announced. Dale took care of
Josey and fitted her for a dress in town. It was difficult for
the mother beaver to keep Josey awake but she managed. The two
sat at an outside café to have lunch and chat. Across the
way, a male black bear sat and watched Josey and Dale. The
bearcat never came into town during the day so she was new to many
people. The bear flagged down a waitress.
The ewe smiled to him, “Yes, sir?”
“Who is that?” he pointed out the bearcat.
“Oh, that’s Josey, she doesn’t come about often during the day.
Today she’s out and about because her wedding is soon,” the ewe
answered happily. She was good friends with Josey and was excited
for her.
“Thanks,” he murmured. The ewe went back to tending to other
customers. The bear narrowed his eyes slightly in thought.
Before he could get up to go talk to her the girls were gone.
“Oh, don’t fuss, bro,” Rad said as he tried to help fit his son’s
jacket. The younger dolphin huffed as he was helped to
dress. “It’s almost time.” The hours just seemed to slip by
as the moonlit wedding was about to begin. It seemed like the
whole town came to watch. “Just breathe and you’ll be fine and
you’ll be out of the suit in no time.” As Rad spoke the words
just flew by Curtis’ head. He was too busy watching as people
were being seated. The pastor walked out with the young dolphin
and uttered soft words to keep him comfortable as they waited.
The music played that announced Josey’s arrival. He turned and
looked and his heart pounded. Her dark fur was offset with the
pure white gown laced with light blues and purples. The ceremony
proceeded and the two stood next to each other happily.
“If there is anyone..” the pastor began. At that moment, the
black bear from the café stood.
“Stop!” the bear roared out. Everyone looked to the bear.
Josey tilted her head somewhat. “Her name it’s Josey and she’s
engaged to me!” He walked down the aisle to the groom and bride.
Curtis stood between the bear and Josey, “And who are you?”
“Max Fangwell and she’s Tish Nightpaw,” Max growled. Rad stood
and went to stand next to Curtis.
Curtis looked to Josey, “Josey? Do you remember him?” The
bearcat watched the bear carefully. She held Curtis’ paw and
clenched tightly as if she didn’t want to let go, but she did have
slight remembrance of the bear.
“You’re interfering with my son’s wedding. There is no Tish
Nightpaw here, so you best get off my property, sir,” Rad nearly
snarled.
“I’m not going to have some fish take my future wife from me!” The bear
snapped. A fist went flying to the bear’s jaw after Curtis let go
of Josey’s paw.
”I’m not a fish!” Curtis yelled. “And you’re not taking my wife
from me!” His father took a hold of him before he could jump at the
intruder. Two of the other males in the congregation grabbed
Max’s arms. The bear fought as it was a long drag off of the
grounds. Josey whispered a thank you to Rad and Curtis. The
younger dolphin smiled and took Josey in his arms and whispered to her,
“I’ll never let you go.” Rings were passed and the kiss was
given. Dale was crying happily and being held by Rad.
The couple was put up in the guest house next door that hadn’t been
rented out in weeks. It served the two just fine, as it got them
away from the family. Soon after Curtis got his new wife through
the door he dipped into the hot tub.
Josey giggled, “Not even going to undress?” Curtis blinked then
slapped his forehead. “It’s ok, love.” She slipped out of her
dress so not to ruin it at least. After that she got in with him
and helped him out of his soaked clothes.
“So your real name is Tish?” he asked.
She smiled. “Tish? I don’t know who you’re talking about. My name is
Josie.” Curtis grinned and nosed her. “Thank you for saving me.”
“You can always count on me.” He took her in his arms and drew
her close. The bearcat kissed her new husband and sat over his
lap. Her large tail clung around his leg and her arms dangled
around his neck. Curtis clicked and nuzzled her. His
slender member revealed itself slowly and pressed against Josey’s legs.
“Make love to me?” she almost pleaded. The dolphin hugged her;
her breasts pressed against him firmly. There was a soft hum as
he felt her against him. His snout brushed against her muzzle as
his cock went into her smoothly. Josey gasp as he entered her and
clenched around him tightly. Her juices oozed around his hot
piece. “Oooh, that feels nice.” Curtis smiled as this went
much better than before. This encouraged him to roll his hips
into her more. Every thrust did not lack any love. With
grunts he came into her and she reared her head back.
“Mm, more?” Curtis panted.
Josey smiled, “I guess more can wait till later.”
